  • Worked in the Wall Street Journal newsroom for 10 weeks to study the processes used to disseminate data-based information to news audience.

  • Consulted with the Wall Street Journal to help increase African-American participation in internship programs.

  • Created a course in partnership with the Wall Street Journal to better prepare Savannah State students for business reporting in Spring 2015.

  • Presented to Journalism and Mass Communications faculty in Fall 2014 about the key needs of the industry and how the department could better prepare students for those needs.
